What is Ragan’s HOPE and what would you like us to know about your organization? Ragan's HOPE is a 501(c)3 national organization that provides assistance to families of children who have catastrophic illnesses or on-going medical issues. We are funded by support of sponsors, community leaders and private donations. With Ragan’s HOPE and your partnership with Night of the Superstars can you tell us more about the event? Night of Superstars is establishing annual red carpet events nationally. The events "celebrate" the achievements of children who have excelled in various areas such as education, community service and personal interests, while coping with their illnesses or disabilities. Funds received in support of the red carpet gala events go directly to Ragan's HOPE Foundation. Funds are used to pay for each event, set up scholarships and assist families locally. Why do you feel Ragan’s HOPE is important to the community? The importance of Ragan's HOPE is realized through the support we provide to families in communities. If you could meet one person in the world who and why? Mother Theresa... her diligence in reaching out to the world around her. Maya Angelou... she has the ability to stir emotion and motivate through her wisdom and insightfulness With being a good corporate citizen, you find it important to give back to your community because… We find it important to give back to our communities because we are able to help bring about change in the lives of families we support.
