Our CEO, Ed Jamison, is on the board of Designer for Dogs and will be speaking on the panel to talk about this incredible new organization. Today marks the launch event for Designers For Dogs happening at The Container Store hosted by ASID Texas Chapter. Designers For Dogs endorses dog-friendly living while illuminating the value and need for fostering and rescuing. Dogs and the home go hand-in-hand, and we strive to be a voice for change in the movement to relieve pet homelessness. We are eager to continue educating others in continued partnerships like these!

On Saturday, April 13 we hosted our Hope Gala at Gilley’s Dallas. The special evening featured dinner, dancing, live music and auctions with proceeds benefiting the shelter’s mission to create a kinder world for pets and the people who love them. The spring soiree raised more than $245,000 for our lifesaving work, beating our goal of $225,000. “Our Hope Gala event brings the most passionate supporters of Operation Kindness together each year to celebrate all that they have made possible for the animals thanks to their generosity,” said Ed Jamison. “It was so uplifting to see special friends of our animals for an unforgettable evening of dining, dancing and fundraising for our cause.” Thank you so much to our amazing supporters and everyone who attended and made this night so incredible! 💕 READ MORE HERE: https://lnkd.in/gpnkGDVH

We had an amazing Community Cat Spay Neuter event this morning, starting bright and early at 7:00 AM. Because of our amazing partnership with SPCA of Texas and Dallas Animal Services & Adoption Center, we were able to spay/neuter 115 community cats! We had an incredible turnout, with the line wrapping around the DAS building of cars ready with their community cats. Our next Community Cat Spay/Neuter date will be Friday, May 10. Be sure to mark your calendars as this is a first come, first serve event. ❤
