Join us in extending a warm welcome to Jim McArthur, who joins our team as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts. With a solid foundation in marketing from the University of Mississippi, Jim brings over two decades of diverse experience in economic and business development to CEC. In his previous role as Director of Business Recruitment at Duke Energy, Jim led strategic outreach efforts, cultivated strong partnerships, and achieved significant success in target industries such as Aerospace, Data Centers, Electric Vehicles, Life Sciences, and Advanced Manufacturing. His ability to generate qualified leads and advance them to successful outcomes has been instrumental in driving growth and expansion initiatives. Prior to his tenure at Duke Energy, Jim held key leadership positions at Piedmont Triad Partnership, Blake Management Group, Mississippi Development Authority, SMARTSYNCH/ITRON, and Yates Construction. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a keen aptitude for developing innovative business development strategies, overseeing multi-faceted projects, and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Jim's active involvement in professional organizations such as the NCEDA, IAMC, and various economic development councils underscores his commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development within the industry. Jim and his wife Jenny have been married for 25 years and have four beautiful children together. We are thrilled to have Jim on board and are confident that his strategic mindset, leadership skills, and extensive experience will greatly contribute to CEC’s continued success.

Welcome to the Team! Sean Tiehes is a dedicated and experienced professional in the field of tooling and logistics, boasting over 25 years of diverse experience that spans from residential construction to advanced supply chain management. His career began in the heart of craftsmanship, working on custom homes with his grandparents, which laid the foundation for his strong work ethic and passion for building. Sean's journey took a significant turn when he joined the Brick Layers Union in Kansas City, but his dedication to serving his country led him to enlist in the US Navy. Over 15 years of honorable service, Sean developed a robust set of skills and disciplines that have been pivotal in his professional journey. Discharged in 2018, Sean briefly embraced retirement before his drive and expertise led him to Faith Technologies, where he excelled as the Senior Logistics Manager for five years. His tenure there was marked by significant achievements in optimizing logistics and enhancing operational efficiencies. Now, as the Tooling and Logistics Director at CEC, Sean is poised to make substantial contributions to the organization's supply chain management, warehousing, and logistics operations. His enthusiasm for working closely with vendors, developing cost-control strategies, and eliminating waste underscores his commitment to ensuring maximum profitability and operational excellence. Outside of his professional life, Sean is a family man at heart, cherishing the moments spent with his wife of 22 years and their seven children. The Tiehes family is excited about their upcoming move to the DFW area, where they look forward to making new connections and building lasting relationships. Sean Tiehes represents the epitome of dedication, resilience, and strategic vision, making him a valuable asset to CEC and an inspirational figure in the logistics and supply chain management industry.
